Facility: Post offices to be set up in remote areas

GPO Chief Postmaster launched different types of about 36 swift post services to the clients in the district.

Pakistan Postal Services Department is acting upon a plan to deliver services to the masses, including those dwelling at remote areas, in sync with the need of the modern age.


This was disclosed by Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) and Federal Capital Circle Postmaster General Raja Muhammad Munir while addressing a gathering recently.

He was visiting the area for annual inspection of General Post Office (GPO) and other subordinate post office branches in various parts of the district.

GPO Chief Postmaster Muhammad Nawaz briefed the regional top boss of the department about the introduction of the recently-launched different types of about 36 swift post services to the clients in the district.

Raja Munir expressed satisfaction over the customers-friendly environment available at the General Post office and several other subordinate branches.
