Busted: Police capture two armed terrorists

The suspects were arrested from Pul Bahawal Wah, Ahmedpur East while riding an unregistered motorcycle.

BAHAWALPUR: The Bahawalpur police on Tuesday foiled a major terrorist activity in southern Punjab after arresting two alleged terrorists belonging to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Khorasan. The suspects were arrested from Pul Bahawal Wah, Ahmedpur East while riding an unregistered motorcycle. Authorities recovered 40 kg of ammunition and arms, four 40 mm rockets, one rocket launcher, three suicide jackets, one circuit watch, four hand grenades, two 12 volts batteries, six mechanical switches, six artificial batteries, 17 clit bearings, one mines special anti-personal, 23 metre prima card, one rifle and two pistols from the suspects. Bahawalpur DPO Sohail Habib Tajik said that both the accused were planning to attack sensitive military installations in Multan.
