Increasing opportunities: Seminar on Information Technology

PESHAWAR: The inaugural ceremony of  a seminar titled ‘Emerging technologies in Information Technology’ was held at the Baragali Campus, University of Peshawar.  The symposium was hosted by the department of Computer Science in collaboration with the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa IT Board and Higher Education Commission. Project Director Arbab Usman said the projects initiated include the establishment of two IT parks. IT companies had installed stalls and briefed the participants about business and job opportunities available in the province. IT professionals, renowned researchers and students attended the event.
