RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Muslim-League-Nawaz leader and former MNA Marvi Memon on Thursday underscored the need for ensuring more coordination between the Federal Flood Commission (FFC) and Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) aimed at making preventive measures during monsoon season.

Talking to reporters after attending a ceremony held to dispatch relief goods to rain-affected people of Nowshera, she said the coordination among the departments concerned would also help provinces to timely shift the people living in low-lying areas to safe places, in case of flash-floods caused by heavy rains.
