Honour killing: Teen shot dead over karo-kari

SUKKUR: A boy identified as Waheed Ali, 16, was gunned down over the pretext of karo kari in the Fakir Mohammad Channa village near Thul on Wednesday. Sources claim that Raheem Bux Channa and Allah Dino Channa suspected Ali of being in a relationship with their niece, M, and were waiting for an opportunity to kill him. Ali was on his way to the market when Raheem Bux and Allah Dino opened fire at him. They managed to escape before the authorities got to the scene of crime. The police took the body to a hospital and no case was registered.
