Citizen feedback: 12 SHOs to face disciplinary action

Disciplinary action has been initiated against 12 SHOs for not registering FIRs. The action was taken by the Citizen Feedback Cell on the basis of complaints lodged with 15 during June.


The cell contacted 2,135 people. Of them, 1,949 informed the cell that action had already been taken on their complaints while 186 applications were found pending.

The SHOs who face disciplinary action include Inspector Bashir Niazi (Islampura), Inspector M Sibtain Shah (Shahdara), Inspector Amjad Ali (Sherakot), Inspector Hafiz Abdul Majid (Gulberg), Inspector M Akmal (Ghalib Market), Inspector Rashid Amin (Factory Area), Inspector Zahoor Shaheen (Yaki Gate), Inspector Mansoor Ahmed (Tibbi City), Inspector Mazhar Iqbal Ranjha (Raiwind City), Sub Inspector Farooq Asghar (Shadbagh) and Inspector Irshadullah (Ravi Road).
