Disciplinary action: 192 cops removed, 26 retire early

FAISALABAD: As many as 192 police officials have been suspended from service and 26 compulsory retirement orders in the last seven months for poor performance, delinquency and negligence, said a statement released to the press on Saturday. The orders were issued by City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana.  The CPO also demoted 48 police officials while services of 399 police officials were confiscated. Kamyana said the decisions were taken in view of the officers’ performance between January and July.
