Cricket: Northern Gymkhana reach final

KARACHI: Half-centuries from Ahsan Ali and Fazal Subhan helped Northern Gymkhana reach the final of the 17th Dr MA Shah Night Trophy, where they will meet Omar CC. In the semi-final, Northern Gymkhana beat AO Clinic by 68 runs. Electing to bat first, Gymkhana’s batsmen responded to the call as Ali scored a fine 64 with two sixes and seven fours, while Subhan played an important 52-run knock. Junaid Naeem and Mansoor Ahmed claimed two wickets apiece. In reply, AO Clinic were bundled out for 101 in 16.3 overs.
