Eidul Fitr: Only one holiday for govt servants

All government employees working in Mirpur, Kotli and Bhimbher districts will be allowed one gazetted holiday on Eid

MIRPUR: Government servants in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) will have only one day off for Eidul Fitr, as two of the three holidays announced earlier by the government for Eid have been cancelled on the directives of AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed. This was revealed in a news release issued by the office of Mirpur division Commissioner Amjad Pervez Ali Khan on Thursday.  The order stated that all government employees working in Mirpur, Kotli and Bhimbher districts of Mirpur division will be allowed one gazetted holiday on Eid day.
