The report stated that Haider posted a message on his Facebook account criticising Kamran’s selection in the national team for the series against Australia and the ICC Twenty20 World Cup in Sri Lanka.
“The fact is that Kamran has not yet been cleared by the ICC of wrongdoing and has only been cleared by the national selectors and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB),” the report quoted Haider.
Kamran, who was dropped after last year’s World Cup for poor performance, was named in the spot-fixing trial that took place in the UK last year but was not summoned by the court or the International Cricket Council (ICC). However, the PCB had excluded him from the team.
Kamran was also accused of deliberately under-performing in the Sydney Test during Pakistan’s tour to Australia in 2010.
The PTI report stated that Haider threatened of revealing more names involved in the spot-fixing scandal if Kamran fails to show his clearance letter. Haider told the PTI, “I have said what is in my mind and until now, I have kept quiet in the hope that the Pakistani board will not allow players with question marks surrounding their performances to play again.”
Kamran, when contacted by the PTI refused to comment on Haider’s statement and said, “I have been selected in the Pakistan team and my focus right now is on just performing for my country.”
Moreover, sources told PTI that the PCB was looking into Haider’s statements and was not happy with him. A source said that the PCB had asked him to refrain from making such statements and some disciplinary action could be taken against him.

I so much agree to above comment by faraz
irrespective of what other say, i've been following pakistan cricket since 1996, and i know kamran akmal has not done justice with his talent, but having said that, he has performed on countless occasions to get pakistan out of trouble. And to be honest there's no other good wicket keeper batsman than him at this point. as for zulqarnain, barking dogs seldom bite, and in his case they don't bite at all. I mean if he knows the players, then his life must still be at stake (as he stated in his plea for UK citizenship) and giving statements like this would only worsen the situation. so in my opinion, he's playing a bluff which is a bad call, so grow up mate and accept that your career ended the moment you ran off to UK
There is one player I would never want to even hear the name of, let alone watch him play....KAMRAN Akmal, irrespective of whether he is involved in match-fixing or not. The wicket-keeper who drops more catches then actually takes, who time and again has frustrated Pakistani supporters by his clown like antics and whose batting is nothing to speak of and whose credibility is in doubt, I don't know why is he in the team and why do Pakistani supporters want him in the team.
well, alot is said earlier and i do go along with this that haider plz open up now and if you can't than plz shut up.
kamran might have learned his lesson by now, he may perform in this series as well ...
whether kamran brothers are involved in match fixing or not but there perform, ance is terrible .pak has lost countless matches cuz of their bad keepering .get rid of them
Just say it man...stop all this drama pls. we dont want kamran either.
I am very sure that Kamran is involved in fixing there is no doubt in it. I wonder that why PCB is so keen to select corrupt players in the team and I very much smell that sumthing is wrong with PCB Management And ICC should check with the credibility of the PCB Management.......are they involved too along with the players in fixing matches??
Such a loser!!
I am not a fan of Kamal ,But Zulkernan shame on you ,
what a loser this guy is
to be honest i don't like Kami as a player and as a person, he seems corrupt.... at the same time i also don't trust Haider anymore he said the same when he ran to UK from Dubai.... i guess he is just blackmailing selectors......
