Nabbed: Suspected car lifter held

BURHAN: The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) foiled a bid to smuggle a stolen car from Lahore to Peshawar and arrested an alleged car lifter on Monday. NHMP sources said that while patrolling on Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway (M-1) near Burhan, the police arrested Saqib Khan, who is stated to be a member of an inter-provincial gang of car lifters, and seized a stolen car from him. He was handed over to the local police for further investigation.
