DAHARKI: A man shot dead his ex-wife in Ubauro on Friday. Shazia Soomro had reportedly divorced Mukhtar Ahmed Soomro and later married another man, Waqar Ahmed Dayo. However, at Mukhtar’s behest, a jirga had declared Shazia a kari. The suspect had also reportedly attacked Dayo’s house in the past. The police handed over the victim’s body to relatives, but had not made any arrests till the filing of this report.
