Street Crime: Woman killed in robbery

SARGODHA: A woman was killed on resisting robbery in Bhalwal area on Friday. Police identified the suspect as Mehreen, 25. They said a motorcycle she and her father Muhammad Akbar were riding was stopped by armed assailants near Chak 13 SB. They shot Mehreen on resisting their attempt to rob her. The body was later sent to Bhalwal tehsil headquarters (THQ) hospital for a postmortem examination.
