Virus cases: Three of a family crippled by polio

KHAIRPUR: Three more cases of polio virus have surfaced in Khairpur with three children of the same family affected. The daughter and two sons of Subhain Ali Shar, who lives in Faqeer Jamshed Shar village, have all been diagnosed with polio. Shar said that he was not aware of the disease and was spending money on their treatment. Polio teams keep visiting larger villages but have never visited his village, he claimed. Shar said that he was advised by his friends to contact the media, so that his children’s cases could be highlighted.
