5 alleged TTP men arrested in Multan

MULTAN: Police, on Saturday, arrested five alleged terrorists belonging to the Tehreek-e-Taliban-Pakistan (TTP) Noor Gul group, foiling their attempts of carrying out terrorist activities, Express News reported.

The alleged terrorists had planned on targeting various cities of Punjab, including Multan, and had been receiving training in Waziristan.

They had prepared hundreds of kilos of ammo and heavy weaponry. The police have seized all the ammunition.

Furthermore, they had planned on targeting the chief of Tehreek-e-Jafaria, Allama Sajid Naqvi, and kidnapping the son of a renowned man for ransom in Mumtazabad.

The terrorists have been identified as Abdullah, Younus, Aqib, Salman Arf Qadri and Muhammad Tahir, belonging to the agency from Khanewal and Dera Ghazi Khan.

These TTP terrorists r so cruel. May Allah either give them hidayat or give them death

Shaukat | 12 years ago | Reply These terrorists groups hav sympathy by our different sects which are everywhere in govt and private sector. So they support their ideology and there is no law and order in this country regarding to cope these kind of activities.
