Terrorist threat: Officials told to check their cars
Punjab government recently received reports that terrorists were planning to target official vehicles

The Chief Minister’s Secretariat has directed all officers to ensure that their government vehicles are kept secure amidst reports that terrorists may attempt to plant bombs in them, The Express Tribune has learnt. The Punjab government recently received reports that terrorists were planning to target official vehicles, particularly those used by officers posted in the CM’s Secretariat and other important posts in the provincial administration. The secretariat instructed officers to park staff cars only at safe and secure places and drivers should not leave the vehicles unattended.
