Mobilising public opinion: People’s SAARC committee formed

KARACHI: Representatives of the Sindh government and civil society finalised a 15-member steering committee of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation’s Sindh chapter on Thursday. The meeting was held at the PMA House. The provincial steering committee of the People’s SAARC, which is represented by civil society organisations will chalk out activities and programmes to mobilise public opinion towards a South Asian Union. Over 60 people attended the meeting.
