Another BMC doctor kidnapped from Quetta
Dr Ghulam Rasool was a psychologist at BMC and was returning home when he was kidnapped.
Earlier on Sunday, Dr Bangulzai had been kidnapped by unknown assailants from the Ganji Dori near Lak Pass in district Mastung, but he reached home safely on Monday evening.
According to family sources, the kidnappers initially demanded Rs50 million in ransom for the surgeon’s release, however negotiations brought down the ransom amount to Rs8 million.
The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) had also called a strike in the Out Patient Departments of all state-run hospitals demanding the government authorities to secure release of Dr Bangulzai. The strike was called off after the doctor's release.

There is no way to differ with you but unfortunate aspect is that, these activities have support from the provincial stake holders either in the form of silence from Police or hidden support to culprits. Martial Law... Yes, when we have to chose between bad (Martial Law) and worst (so called our democracy) then we should chose "bad".
Dr Ghulam Rasool is a renowned psychiatrist. Two years back his house was barged by the dacoits and every thing was looted from house. The dacoits were arrested but as usual the courts released them. Now the same person has been kidnapped. As observed by the supreme court , there is complete breakdown of constitution. People are praying for the come backof Martial Law. This is beyond the courts and the corrupt democratic setup to run the State.
Dr Ghulam Rasool is one of the few qualified Psychiatrists in the Balochistan province. A hard working and dedicated professional. Its a shame that he has been kidnapped. Such a sorry and pitiful state of affairs.

Well kidnapping teachers, doctors and killing them is now becoming a norm in Balochistan. Tell me in future doctors and teachers will serve in Balochistan or will leave Balochistan??. Obviously they will leave for other provinces as everyone wants secure life . The people who dont have a respect for educated people cannot thrive at all. It is like stabbing your own foot by doing these actions as Already underdeveloped Balochistan will be bereft of education and health in future. The Educated people in Balochistan have to take stand otherwise your current generation will be at a loss and when they grew older in the job market and in competition within Pakistan they will not be able to compete at all and also your regions will remain deprive as well with basic facilities.
