LAHORE: The second World Hepatitis Day will be observed in the city on Saturday (today) with the slogan ‘Hepatitis: it’s closer than you think. Know it. Confront it’. Urging policy makers, civil society and health professionals to combine efforts to the silent epidemic, the World Health Organisation in its message this year said that with early detection and appropriate management, it was possible to improve the quality of life of millions of people contracted with this disease. our correspondent
