South Africa all-rounder Jacques Kallis was left out of South Africa’s squad for the upcoming five-match One-Day International (ODI) series against England and was replaced by Dean Elgar, according to the Times of India. Kallis is being rested ahead of the ICC World Twenty20 in September-October. Imran Tahir has been included as a specialist spinner while Ryan McLaren has been recalled as an additional seamer.  Five members of the Proteas’ squad - Wayne Parnell, Faf du Plessis, Justin Ontong, Elgar and McLaren - will travel to Ireland with South Africa A for an ODI before joining the national squad in England.
