Improving Traffic Flow: KMC to charge for parking at bazaars

KARACHI: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has decided to impose a parking fee in ‘Bachat Bazaars’ across the city because of complaints of frequent traffic jams and unregulated parking at makeshift markets during the Ramazan. According to a KMC statement, an amount of Rs5 for motorbikes and Rs10 for cars will be charged at the parking areas. In case of overcharging, people can lodge their complaints at 99230819.
