In a statement issued on Saturday, the party chief demanded that Pakistan should also submit a requisition to summon a General Assembly session in the United Nations to ponder over the situation in Myanmar.
He deplored that more than 4 million Muslims were facing terrorism and fanaticism in its extreme form but the international community had turned a blind eye to the issue. “Hundreds of thousands of Muslims in Myanmar are being forced to turn away from Islam and migrate to other countries,” he added.
He appealed to the international community to play its due role to safeguard the fundamental human rights in Myanmar as such incidents were a slap on the so-called civilised world society.
He also called on the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) to take immediate measures to stop the massacre in Myanmar.
He further said that the UN should give up its double standard against the Muslim community and take notice of the violation of basic human rights in Myanmar.

In the name of God the merciful and unless we insist Muslims in Burma and Anzarethm on their enemies and mercy of their dead and brought them in Thy righteous God destroyed the enemies of Muslims everywhere O lift their banner and united their word God be merciful dead Burma and brought them roomy Jnank you bestow supplication
whole world n people like u hate truth..watever the case may be in pakistan but nobody can deny the injustice meted out with the Rohingyas just because they are minority and vulnerable..atleast somebody raised voice by u people are hypocite atleast have some pain for them.. @Typical hypocrite mulla:
At least someone is raising voice against this massacre. When we know there is media blackout then its our responsibility to spread this news as much possible if know one going to raise the voice against it the question is who will ? .Who is doing this ? .and their is lots of criticism against. What does this mean that we should even stop verbally speaking about any massacre until our own country is cleaned and rectified ? total nonsense . Its really bad time for muslims around the world and truth will prevail by the grace of Allah.
I don't know the past and the history of JI but this time it is doing the right thing. Muslims please unite in the cause. Be one Ummah. Support our brothers and sisters with your wealth and might. We are one body and we are suffering. Please forget the past and spend in Allah's cause. And if you can't do that, Pray! May Allah have mercy. Please don't drag others down. Do what u can and leave the rest on Allah.
@Umer: Agreed 100%. Forget the hypocracy of not condemning Pakistani home killings, but for an organization that allegedly was the second largest contributor to the massacres in Bangladesh's independence, to raise a voice for Bengali Burmese minority is opportunistic.
As someone said earlier, JI leaders are being tried in Bangladesh for war-crimes. Please study that before commenting.
@Syed Shah: Blatant denial is an old JI trick from opposing creation of Pakistan to Al-Badr and As-Shams in Bengal to collaborating with army against sitting democratically elected government. Unfortunately for JI all of it is well documented as well as JI's efforts over years in increasing radicalisation in Pakistan causing great harm to moderates and minorities.
Aung San Suu Kyi was given a nobel peace prize by Hillary Clinton not to long ago. Anywhere we see opression against people, it is mostly backed or empowered by Zio-American establishments through puppet regimes, thats why they remain quite about it. Weather its Myanmar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia or Pakistan, their respective governments tend to stay quite about it because they're doing it to show obedience to their western masters. As for Munawwar Hassan, your tongue does not have the courage to speak when people in your own country are massacred with heads chopped solely because of being shia muslims. This is a perfect definition of hypocrisy.
I fully understand and feel the agony of Burmese Muslims because we are almost going through same situation in Pakistan. It may not be of the same scale but Pakistani Ahmadi and Shia and other minorities are suffering same mental and physical trauma. May Allah safeguard and protect Burmese Muslims and all other who are suffering on the name of religion or ethnicity. All these aggressors, either Pakistani, Indian, Burmese, American or Israelis are same in nature, only different in looks. Some uses religion and some uses ethnic or political excuse to kill innocent people who differ with them.
@anybodyagree: You are 101 percent correct. Salams
Playing with Religious emotions- Story of JI
A sincere suggestion to JI and Maulana!
Ask to Saudis to speak about Mynamar's muslims plight because Saudis are too 'close' to American.
@Mard-e-Haq: 300000 pakistani stranded in bangladesh wants to come pakistan. for the last 40 years they are crying to come to pakistan. they are languishing in the refugee camp in bangladesh. they fought and actively co operate with pakistan army againist bengla. pakistan why you are not taking your own citizen.
While demanding action on the plight of Muslims in Myanmar, Syed Munawar Hasan and JI should also demand protection of Muslims in Pakistan from the acts of the vaunted Pakistani Army. The JI should demand the United Nations take notice of the situation in Karachi and the genocide going on Baluchistan in which the Pakistani army and government of course plays a prominent role. To this list JI should add the atrocities committed by the Pakistani Army and Air force that has no qualms using air force jets and helicopter gunships to strafe and murder innocent Muslims all in the name of fighting terrorism. The JI primary responsibility is to the Muslims in Pakistan and not Myanmar.
Pakistan/Pakistani politicians should be worried about what all is happening within its domain under the banner of Islam rather than being a proponent for Muslim international affairs. We cant seem to celebrate EID on the same damn day as the rest of the Muslim "Rubber Stamp Ummah"...but are worried about the state of other Muslims. Get over Kashmir, Shia, Sunni, Beralvi, HariPagree differences first....LOL@ Pakistan "demanding"...i am sorry what is Pakistans status globally? Living of US charity banking on the Islamic Bomb...hahahahah..(for the record i am a Pakistani not an Indian mascara-ding as one)
Un believeable comments by some of you above, no bad treatement, killing or un justice at one place can justify it at an other place. People make mistakes, un justice happen every where it does not give any body right to take law in their own hand and start killing people, no matter what religion, race or colour they are. We all should stand together againt un justice where ever it happen, currently it is happening in Burma, where muslims are being killed without any reason and we should stop it ASAP and we should condenm the act.
Pakistan First.....
@FU: Pakistan was not a Joke but You made it a joke.
@Typical hypocrite mulla: What small world you have? A tiny mind.
@AFGHAN: They are your brothers also. What are you doing about Baluchistan? Just pointing fingers on others. This is what you are practicing. What a shame.
Dear Bearded-Ones, how come you protest so little when Muslims kill Muslims? In Syria there is a massacre happening at the hands of a tyrant who does not want to give up his lavish lifestyle. Not a peep was heard from any of you Bearded Ones. Why?
@Zaryani The laws of Pakistan are the work of fallible men. It is not divine law no matter how much you wish it were. Man's evil is the cause of most of this world's misery. Only God has the right to judge the truth of another faith.
@Spud:
Who told you Ahmadis are Muslims they being cleared as Non Muslims
Does JI wants the Pakistan army to drop the Islamic bomb on Burma?
JI will always bank in on popular issues. they have never condemned the shia genocide in the country and never gone to such lengths as they are doing. they wouldn't even hold a token protest.
As a Pakistani, I fully agree. We should lodge a strong protest, but only on humanitarian basis. . We should also raise voice for non-Muslim civilians who are suffering. . This way we can strengthen forces of peace around the world. When a non-Muslim raises voice for Burmese Muslims, it will have more credibility. Same way, when we speak for non-Muslims, it will create harmony and bring peace!
Thank God, Burma does not share a border with Pakistan! Burma is indeed blessed.
To Pakistanis :
Does this really work? Does JI manage to get some votes based on such slogans?
Did the JI protest the killings of Uyghers by Han Chinese? Why Dear Diesel, no courage to talk against China?
@Mohammed Syed, are you not being hypocritical? Why not protest the atrocities against Tibetans by Chinese? Why not the genocide of Tamils by Sri Lankans?
And MAINLY when you protest the burning down of a train of Hindus by MUSLIMS in GUJRAT?
@Ajit Sharma
Why would those Muslims come to Pakistan? Pakistan is the worst place on earth!!
several Pakistanis are massacred and are treated inhumanely in the name of sect or ethnicity .. several Pakistani soldiers are killed by banned groups. why on earth JI is mum over all these incidents..and something which is not verified by any source other than mullahs or Islamist groups is inflicting this much concern for JI.
What about Pakistan's Shia Muslims Massacre?
I see no reason to applaud the attitude of the JI. In ke kaan pe joon nahin rengi when non-Sunni Muslims in Pakistan were being victimized and are still being victimized. Especially, the Shia-Sunni dispute dates from the time of Hazrat Ali. No early end of this dispute is either visible or possible, except that Shias and Sunnis should not live in the same Islamic country. The Rohingyas have lived in Myanmar (Burma) for generations and have a right to both residence and naionality of that country. Everything should be done to ensure that they get their proper due. At the same time, JI should cure itself of its selective advocacy of some causes. V. C. Bhutani, Delhi, India, 22 July 2012, 0833 IST
how about Hazara and Shia killing quetta will JI take the matter to UN
@Nasir Mahmood: so when Ahmadis, Hindus and Christians are killed in Pakistan then a UN action would be acceptable?
The JI should lobby the government of Pakistan to resettle Rohingya Muslims in Karachi. It's the Islamic thing to do and shows Islamic compassion. Otherwise, talk is cheap.
@Umer: This is the first good thing JI is doing. Who says minorities are persecuted in Pakistan? They are not. Ask any Hindu of Pakistan how well he is treated and lives so comfortably in Pakistan. See how they dominate professions!
It is just propaganda against Muslims and Pakistan that holds no water. India has conducted hundreds and thousands of pogroms which it is an expert in pushing under the carpet and no body talks about it.
It is also a notorious breaker of the international laws and has invaded and conquered illegally Hyderabad, Kashmir, Juna Gadh and Daman and Deu. Pakistan has done nothing of the sort. Yes guys like TTP have given a bad name to Pakistan but even they have not been harmful to Hindus or minorities but to Muslims themselves.
So Mr. Umer's accusation is not based on facts but heresay and propaganda.
Every minority and Islamic subsect are suffering the same plight in Pakistan. What is so special about the Burmese?
JI and its leadership are certifiable.
DId he protest when Taliban were blowing Bamiyan Buddha statue??
Seriously, did it hurt? ...and what about when your brethren brandishes violence against Ahmadis, Christians, Hindus etc.
pakistan has a direct border with xinjiang province of china - that state used to have a Muslim majority but now with inhuman measures it is a Muslim minority - what did pakistan , leader in the muslim world do ? -nothing !
@Khalid: As long as Muslims kill other Muslims, that is fine with these mullahs. be it Taliban or al Qaeda. But not infidels.
Looks like after ARABs(Iran Ayotollahs) Pakistani mullahs are torch bearers to save Muslims from world of infidels
@anybodyagree: You are spot on. Why doesn't their concern for the plight of Rohingyas extend to murders of Shia and Ahmadi Muslims.
One word, HYPOCRITE!
JI needs yet another non-issue to seek some relevance in the political system. Why doesn't it condemn the religiously moitvated violence in Pakistan first and then start ;looking outward... such hypocrisy.
What hypocrisy. Mr Qazi has been silent on the murder of Shias, Ahmadis etc.
Atleast JI has the guts to speak, i am astonished no other political parties have come forward for it. Irrespective of their past JI's stances are getting good day by day
Maybe JI can pay for them to fly to Pakistan or Pakistan can fight burma now
Maulana sahib. First voice your concerns about the sectrarian stuff that your kind are whipping up in the country. Put a stop to that and then point fingers.
Munawwar sahb, Turn your eyes toward your own home and show some humanity by lodging a protest against rampant Shia and Ahmadi killings
While they are shedding crocodile tears for Burmese Muslims, will they also demand that half a million Pakistani urdu speakers in Bangladesh who have been living a miserable life in refugee camps for the past 40 years? Then how about demandind that China stop the genocide of Uighur Muslims? Are the Pakistanis stuck in BD and Uighur Muslims not muslim enough for JI to raise its voice in support of them?
Moulana Sahib, Be careful. This area you not travelled, or trekked. Pls allow pakistanis to lead their life!
As a Muslim I despise the murder of any "human"; be it Muslim, Hindu, Christian, Jew, Ahmedi, etc. But when killers start protesting, I lose it. JI first fix the problem in Pakistan. Muslims are getting killed by Muslims, why don't anyone protest them!! Such double standards!!. No one is safe in a land where Children and Women are being slaughtered in the name of religion. What about the Shi'a killing or Ahmedi killing in Pakistan. What is happening in Burma should be condemned, but the same should apply for the killings in Bahrain, Syria, Quetta, Karachi, Saudi Arabia, Iran...JI be realistic for once!!
All muslim countries should stop trade with burma and lodge strong protest against that killings.OIc should play leading role. Also Bangladesh government has to accept fleeing burma muslims to their country and give them relief with camps, shelter and food because they are bengalis origin and bangladesh has a border with them and than ask all muslim countries to send aid to bagladesh to distribute them in their camps. May Allah help all muslims. ameen
JI calls on government to lodge protest and makes numerous fake images to support their argument. PATHETIC!
Pakistan is a joke and nobody takes them seriously at international stage. Pakistan and human rights in the same line seriously. Are you kidding me?
At least and i mean it at least condemn something done by the TTP and other banned organizations....
What a pitty and shame that rather supporting the righteous cause, appeal and a logical demand by JI (whoever else even would have demanded) we are on taunts and in dragging the matters with whatever have happened in past at other places / regions. Had there been one minority burnt in Pakistan, we would have been receiving foreign delegates in-person or their remarks, statement and condemnation with severe threats of repurcussions. But, as the matter is of Muslims, no problem and nothing of concern for any of the champions of Human Rights and International Community. Moment of shame for Muslim Ummah.
What about the killings of Baloch Muslims? JI is myopic.
@realist Ha ha ha ha ha, wonderful reply to Arjit Sharma. He was sarcastic, but, you have beaten him with a handsome margin!!!
Please first protest about killings of Muslims in Pakistan by TTP and other factions which are targeting hazara's, shia's, sunni's. First stop the massacre of muslims in your country and then talk about Burma muslims.
These hypocrites never lodged a protest against the persecution of muslims & minorities by political islamists in Pakistan.
@Arijit Sharma: 300 Shia Muslim 7 Ahmadiyya Muslims some Sunni Muslims target killed by LeJ-ASWJ terrorists so far in 2012 alone JI DIDN'T PROTEST,Secondly you mentioned about those muslims were former East Pakistani, please study the history,JI was involved in the murder of innocent Bengali in 1971 who were also Muslims.
If Pakistan think that they can stop Myanmar through International Community,They r wrong as there is no democracy in Myanmar and have propar Diplomatic relationship only with China and Some cultural relation with India. And one more thing,do't ever do blunder of announcing "Jihad" against Myanmar as it will only harm Rohingya Muslims more. Better ask Rohingya Muslims to obey Myanmar laws rathar that "Allah's Law" in Myanmar, same as Non Mslims minorities in Islamic nations r expected to obey islamic rules.
This affair has got nothing to do with Pakistan. It's time we learnt to mind our own business
@Nasir Mahmood: "This is not only JI’s concern but should be every Muslim’s. Pakistan Govt should take this matter to the UN." Please do not expect anybody in the UN would care to listen us until we stop the Muslims killing the Muslims in our own country and this must be our concern first and foremost.
JI should take care of their "brothers" in Balochistan first.
Totally agree with this gentlemen. However, why does he not express same concerns when minorities in Pakistan are given same treatment? If he is under the impression that Muslims are more superiour then other religions then his logic and argument does not stand ground.
These are some the pcitures circling the facebook http://blogs.tribune.com.pk/story/12867/social-media-is-lying-to-you-about-burmas-muslim-cleansing/
What about Percicution of Non-Muslim minorities in Islamic Countries?? Will any Pakistani will ever speak against that??
IF U Can Kill and Percicute ur Minorities, don't expect charity from others. Myanmar is a buddist majority country. How many Pakistanis Muslims had protest and raise voice against Demilition of Bamiyan Budha by Taliban?? Probably no one,as it was demolition of Idol, pious act for Allah. Then Why Buddhist can't demolish Mosque and Kill Muslims??
I wish they care about Pakitsani as much they care about Muslim.
Pakistan should send its Army to Burma to restore secure muslims there. What`s the point in being a lone Muslim nuclear power when we cant even protect muslims.
Some Pakistanis are more concerned about Muslims in other places like Burma, Palestine and many other foreign lands but do not fight for the rights of Pakistani Muslims who are suffering for last 65 year under the cruel rule of the feudals and super-rich who live in palaces.
Can anyone please tell me how much arms does POF still sells to Burmies govt.? I remember pakistani govt was selling land mines in the 80's that the Burmies govt were using to stop cross border traffic of the same Rohingias.
If any other mionority is under fire or killed in the same way then west will make all the hue and cry. Now these are Muslim Burmies and no one in the world talked about it. Even OIC is quiet as OIC is also under the influence of West. OIC need permission from US and other Western countries before speaking. There is no justice and bodies like UN are also puppets of the West. At least Pakistani government should protest on this situation.
well when will guys realize about conditions of minorities in pakistan ? any muslim country has no right to protest against burna killings as these happen on daily basis in their own houses.
minority killing, abduction and force convertion is high in pakistan..wounder what this mulla want to say about that ?? Thats why the whole world hate them
This is not only JI's concern but should be every Muslim's. Pakistan Govt should take this matter to the UN.
Why not make a direct appeal to China your supposed best buddy -- they are the only friends that Myanmar has and likely the one with the most leverage.
And nothing about Syrian muslims?
Arijit Sharma you really have sense of humor. Matter of discussion is Burmies Muslim not Calcata converts.
Leaving aside the condition of minorities in Pakistan, if you are so concerned, why doesn't Pakistan then offer to take in the Rohingya? I am sure they will be most grateful, as will Myanmar, and the rest of the international community. Seems to be a far more effective step than empty protests which nobody will give time of day to.
If Burma Muslims are facing massacre then Pakistani shias are facing genocide. Why won't Munawwar sahib say something against that?
Drama queens. They encourage and support persecution of minorities in Pakistan yet complain about other countries. Bunch of hypocrites. Let JI speak against Blasphemy law and then we'll see how sincere they are regarding human rights.
why not JI protesting of Pakistani Muslims massacre by TTP . . . .????
@Arijit Sharma:
Most likely, they will not accept the offer to return to Pakistan.
Torturing civilians can't be justifies regardless of the faith or ethnicity/ The problem is, 'Muslims' have made themselves equal to a naughty boy who gets blamed regardless of who is at fault. Unfortunately, the world has become insensitive to the killings of the Muslims. It only sees killing by the Muslims. Who is to blame? Well, you don't need to be rocket scientist to figure that out.
What about the Pakistanis killed by Pakistanis! First put our house in order before crticizing others. Story of JI they are more bothered about Palestinians, Kashmiris, etc instead of Pakistanis.
I am with the Maulana on this. Pakistan MUST register a protest. The Rohingias, who are essentially East Pakistanis are the responsibility of the State of Pakistan. Pakistan MUST offer the Rohingias the right of return - to Pakistan.
at last someone realized
