Change in plans will cause inconvenience to ambulances in shifting patients to the hospital

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday summoned the Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) project director and director on July 24 on a writ petition challenging a change in plan for the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS). Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh issued the order on a petition moved by a citizen, who says the Punjab government had removed the U-turn in front of General Hospital and shifted it four kilometres away from the hospital. He says that the change in plans will cause inconvenience to ambulances in shifting patients in critical or serious condition to the hospital since they would have to take a long detour.
