HYDERABAD: MPA Barrister Hasnain Mirza, who is also a member of the national  economic council, has directed the irrigation officials to supply water to Phuleli Canal because people of three districts depend upon its water supply. He said this on Monday when he was on a visit to the canal. Mirza said that 2.5 million people depended upon the water from Phuleli Canal and nine sugar mills also were also there in the areas which it supplied. The irrigation officials assured the MPA that water will be released into the canal in the next 24 hours. They demanded that the shortage of water in the Left Bank  Canal should be resolved as soon as possible.
