Cricket: Latif named Karachi selector
The Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) has appointed former captain Rashid Latif as their representative.
KARACHI:
The Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) has appointed former captain Rashid Latif as their representative in the selection committee that will select the U19 team of the city on July 20. Other members of the committee include Salim Jaffer (chairman), assistant coaches of Karachi region Tahir Mahmood and Mohammad Masroor. All standout performers in the zonal matches, who have been cleared in the physical fitness test and recommended by the selection panel, have been directed to report at the National Stadium on Saturday for trials. Players born on or after September 1, 1993 and who have appeared in the Regional Inter District U19 Cricket Tournament this year will be eligible to appear in final trials.
