Sexual assault: Three held on rape charges
The Pahar Pur police have arrested three men on charges of raping a married woman.
Shabana Bibi*, a resident of Wanda Karim in Pahar Pur Tehsil, lodged an FIR with the police, accusing Sher Jehan*, Akbar* and Babar* of gang-raping her at gunpoint.
Bibi, a mother of four, said that the three men entered her house at night while she was asleep with her children and fled after raping her.
The police conducted a raid in the area and arrested all three culprits besides seizing a pistol from one of them. They have been booked for rape, criminal intimidation, assault and breaking an entry.
