Shutter-down strike in parts of Balochistan against ANP rally blast

QUETTA: A shutter-down strike called by the Awami National Party (ANP) is being observed in several areas of Balochistan against the bomb attack on their rally in Quetta, which injured four of their workers, Express News on Saturday.

Several parties including Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F), Jamiat Nazriyati, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP), Balochistan National Party (BNP), Hazara Democratic Party (HDP), Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), PML-Quaid and Jamaat-i-Islami have supported the strike call.

All businesses as well as traffic remained at a halt during the strike.

The areas where the strike is being observed include Quetta, Loralai, Pashin, Kingri, Kuchlak and Chaman.

@believer: Love your country and love your religion and make Pakistan a welfare Islamic state. Our Government and all of us who have elected them into power are responsible for today's pathetic state of affairs in our country. Love for your country does not in any way hinder your love for religion.

Why all secular parties are targetted? It is not RAW or any other foreign hand(s). All Pashtuns united against the common enemy. The ugly faced common enemy of all of us! United Afghanistan is our dream.
