Two including Imam Bargah cleric beheaded in Quetta
According to the police, some people informed the police about the presence of the bodies in a mountain near Mian Gundi area. Officials rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area after discovering the bodies.
The bodies were shifted to the Bolan Medical Teaching Hospital for an autopsy.
“They were slaughtered and beheaded in a brutal manner,” hospital sources said adding that their ages ranged between 28-30 years of age.
They were identified as leader of Satellite Town Imam Bargah Maulana Nour Ali Nour and Syed Haseeb Abad Zaidi, a resident of Sirki Road, Quetta.
Sources said the men had been identified by the slips found on their bodies, in which the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) claimed responsibility for the killing.
Relatives of Haseeb told the media that he had been kidnapped from Satellite Town around 19 days ago.
“The kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs1.9 million and we paid them Rs1.5 million but then they demanded a million more,” said the family.

Sectarian cleansing is a HUGE problem, and so are right-wing extremists and their apologists. As always, you're wrong, its not worse in India. There are lots of Shiite Muslim Indians in India who are safer, and despite the Lucknow dispute and common prejudice, Sunni Muslim Indians have refrained from embracing bigoted violent sectarian Wahhabi ideologies or militancy like some of the majority in Pak. You want praise and gratitude for what? Dishonesty and betrayal? That we're not treated as bad with Hindu Indians, who ironically are actually more sympathetic to minority sectarian Muslims, even those in Pak? For not being involved in full blown genocide yourself instead of a 'few' massacres? Oh thank you majority master, er, brother, for sparing some of us....(sarc)

@kaalachakry: In history Shia were eliminated from Tunisia, Egypt, Lybia and other parts of North Africa by Sunnis, Hindus were not involved in that. India is a fine example of tolerance.

Small problems always exist in all countries. However, before people go overboard bashing Pakistan, please remember, how much worse matters are in India. By now there would have been no shias left had they stayed back there. Some gratitude to Pakistan, please. As to the rest, Allah knows best.
Isn't it ironic that Shiite Muslims can lead better lives in the land of the infidels (Europe, America), than in the Land of the Pure.

You if by any chance are a real Pakistani (not an indian with a fake alias pretending as Pakistani) would know very well that these sectarian rifts are always funded either by india or Iran. Although Iran now refrains from interfering in our matters, but india and Afghanistan actively are involved in creating a sectarian rift. Otherwise Shias and Sunnis live together side by side with absolute peace and love for each other.

Due to load shedding, people have started mincing meat (qeema banana). If the economic agonies continue, Shias, Ahmadis, Hindus,Christians will face BBQ.
I just want to ask why no one does anything about Lashkar e Jhangvi menace? They openly admit they kill the Shias, their leader Malik Ishaq has preached hatred and he is already out of jail. Obviously LJ don't fear Allah but what about the rest of the sunni population? What are you guys waiting for? Stop the Shia genocide in Pakistan!!!
Only the US, India, Israel or the elected govt can butcher the minorities and smaller sect Muslims. The Wahabi Jihadists are never against the smaller sects or our religious shrines. It must be a conspiracy against Pakistan by foreign agents and the ruling secular and liberal coalition govt and the SC should start another suo motu case against the elected govt. Kudos to Qadri and Justice Sharif who has volunteered him free of charge legal help without even asking.
You see the problem with the State of Pakistan is that it has a President who is only interested in stealing as much money from the country as possible-just like his wife used to- and transport it in safe banks in Switzerland. Pakistan also has an army that does absolutely nothing to stop this and the Political scene is dominated by Zardari's goons. What needs to happen is that the PPP needs to be banned from politics forever to get rid of this cancer that is plaguing our beloved country! We need to kick out the goons and thieves from our country-they contribute nothing to our society.

I would request all not to play politics while commenting on such news. I'm not a Shia but I am ashamed of being a silent spectator of what's happening in this country. Men are being slaughtered only because of their religious beliefs. Minarets and Kalima are being erased by the Police. Let's all come out of our silence and condemn such actions irrespective of our faith because we all are Pakistani citizens having a responsiblity to our fellow countrymen.
PPP supporters like jibran are the real problem. He signifies the height of delusion with which jiyalas support PPP. They will blame CJ, courts, laywers, PTI, PML-N, army the next door neighbour for the troubles all over the country but are blind to the fact that their leaders are pushing this country into a deep hole. Their strategy is to play the victim + shaheed card and win election.

Criminal negligence from the PPP led government. They are only interested in passing laws to protect their corruption and safeguard their interests. People are being butchered and they playing political games. They are the party in power they have to do something about this.
Had Shias known that there will come a time when they will be slaughtered in Pakistan with impunity solely because they were Shias and there would be no recourse and no outrage, they would not have participated in the Pakistan movement. That also means that Muhammad Ali Jinnah would not have been our Quaid-e-Azam, as he also happened to be a Shia.
