Abduction: Woman ‘raped by three villagers’

Woman said seven men from the village had jumped her when she reached the village well.

BAHAWALPUR: A resident of Choohan village near Hasilpur was allegedly raped by three men on Saturday night. Speaking to The Express Tribune, the woman said that seven men from the village had jumped her when she reached the village well. She said she was taken to a nearby field at gun point where three of the men beat her and raped her. She said they ran away when a vehicle approached the field. Saddar SHO Mian Ghazanfar told the media that DNA samples had been collected and sent for chemical examination.
