Counterfeit stamp paper: 5 dealers’ licences cancelled

There are a total of 156 registered stamp paper sellers at the district katchery.

FAISALABAD: Licences of five stamp paper sellers were cancelled on Saturday by the district government after they were found to be dealing in selling counterfeit stamp papers. According to a government official, there are a total of 156 registered stamp paper sellers at the district katchery. However, after District Coordination Officer (DCO) Naseem Sadiq ordered a crackdown 30 dealers were suspected of being involved in the sale of counterfeit stamp papers. Dealers have been directed to submit daily record of stamp paper sales.
