Golf: Sindh Open tees off today

KARACHI: The country’s top professional and amateur golfers will assemble in Karachi to vie for top honours at the Sindh Open Golf Championship, that tees off today at the Arabian Sea Country Club. Ace golfer Shabbir Iqbal, who won the Chief of Naval Staff Golf Championship, will start as the hot favourite in the professional category. In the amateur category, Ali Hai will be the main title contender. The three-day championship is offering a total prize money of Rs1.2 million.
