TANDO ADAM: The Karakoram Express broke down on Monday near Beerani railway crossing, Tando Adam, while on its way to Karachi. The passengers had to wait for over five hours in the scorching heat. Frustrated, they shouted slogans against the railways minister and shattered the windows of the control room of Jalal Marri Railway Station. The residents of the area rushed to the scene and succeeded in saving the assistant station master from the angry crowd.  The police also came to control the situation. The faulty train blocked the down track and stopped all other trains from coming to Karachi.
