Terrorism: Bounties set for 65 suspects

There are 15 suspected terrorists with bounties between Rs1 million and Rs2 million.

The Home Department has fixed bounties for 65 men wanted for several terrorism incidents in the province.


Special Branch, Counter Terrorism Department, Elite Force and the district police concerned will jointly work to track down these men.

A police official speaking on condition of anonymity told The Express Tribune that with Rs10 million bounty for his arrest, Mateeur Rehman alias Hameed Sial, a resident of Madina Colony in Bahawalpur, was on top of the list.

Mansoor alias Chhota Ibrahim, Qari Ehsanul Haq, Afzal alias Fazal Ullah and Qari Ubaid each had a head money of Rs5 million.

There are 15 suspected terrorists with bounties between Rs1 million and Rs2 million.

Among the suspects with bounties between Rs500,000 and Rs2 million, 29 belong to the Shia sect and 14 belong to the Sunni sect.
