Accident: Nine injured in fireworks blast

BUREWALA: Nine children, including two brothers, sustained burns in a fireworks blast on Saturday night. According to Qabula police, the explosion took place in a heap of garbage at Mohallah Pir Hazoori. The injured were identified as Muhammad Umar Iqbal, Jamshed Iqbal, Kinza Abbas, Mohsin Illyas, ManzoorAli Muhammad, Naeem Bashir, Shahzad Siddique and two brothers Mudassar Akram and Waqas Akram.. They were taken to Burewala tehsil headquarters (THQ) hospital, from where Jamshed Iqbal and Umar Iqbal were stated to be in a critical condition and referred to a hospital in Sahiwal.
