Social Responsibility: G-B to get its first dialysis centre

Camps will also be established in Sharote, Shukjot and Barog areas, said the officials.

The first dialysis centre in Gilgit-Baltistan will be established by National Bank of Pakistan. This was said by senior officials of NBP on Saturday.


A delegation comprising NBP Corporate Coordinator Ghulam Muhammad, NBP Regional Head Nasir Zamani, Akbar Hussain and Najeeb Aziz held a press conference at Gilgit Press Club on Saturday, during which they said they were ready to invest in health, education, culture and sports in the region.

With the support of Sehat Foundation and G-B police, NBP would hold free health campaigns in eight villages of Bagrote Valley during which over 1,000 patients would be given free medicine and treatment.

Camps will also be established in Sharote, Shukjot and Barog areas, said the officials.
