A video by BlackBox productions tells the story of Suhaila Muhammadi, who hails from Balochistan where the environment for women is not conducive, being a conservative society. But Muhammadi wanted to bring about a change – a change that would prove that “girls can do anything,” as she says in the video.
Clasping her fingers into a fist, Muhammadi kicks in the air while firmly balancing herself on the other leg – every move embodies her determination. She is now the top medalist among 300 students at her karate club – 250 of which are boys.
The video shows her trainer Ghulam Ali Hazara narrating how she developed the passion for martial arts. “She was about nine years old, when she used to watch our training sessions through the windows.”
Muhammadi, who has participated in many tournaments including the SAF games, humbly discloses that watching martial arts movies became her inspiration.
Video rating: Thumbs up for the determination and never-give-up attitude.

Proud of you sohaila. Modesty lied your way and of course shined :)
All discussions are ruined the moment religion is mentioned.
@fus: As I clearly said that its what Pakistanis think. I haven't generalized it but yes majority thinks like this. May be you don't but a lot do. They have inferiority complex. They want to be like west in just vulgarity & nudity not in technology or education. I am talking about that faction. You can go to picture gallery section of this website and read the comments yourself. You will not what I am talking about.
@Ali..that is your twisted definition. A person can be religious, in Hijab or Burka, with liberal thinking..it does not mean "nangapun". Many ppl are liberal but how many of them support Vulgarism? None or very few, so don't please give a blanket staement even if you are talking specifically about Pakistan.
May God bless you and protect you...
All the love and support for her. People like her who lead the way gives great confidence boost to others
@Ordinary Villager: Compared to Liberals in our country whose state of mind is free that claim that we can wear whatever we want to spoil the society. Don't be so innocent.
@Ali: All of my life I was of the view that It is your state of mind that makes you a liberal but your definition is strange that is connecting the liberalism with clothing and modesty in clothing???. My dear friend do you know Liberalism means Ideas of Equality and Liberty. Can you explain how is Classical , Conservative, Economic and Social Liberalism is connected with clothes you wear as i think you have any idea what is meant by a Liberal and what is meant by Liberalism.
a big slap on liberals. One can achieve anything in a modest manner. You don't have to get partially naked to advance.
Kudos to this Girl.....
