Karachi violence: Sindh govt sets up body to assess losses

The Sindh government has set up a commission to investigate the deaths of innocent citizens.

KARACHI: The Sindh government has set up a commission to investigate the deaths of innocent citizens who have become victims of political violence in the city since the beginning of 2012.According to a press statement issued by the Sindh government on Wednesday, the commission will also assess the loss incurred by the people to their property and vehicles. After completing the report, the commission will send its recommendations to the government. However, the identity of the members of the commission has not yet been disclosed to the media. They promised to provide compensation to the victims families.
