Suspicion: Man kills sister-in-law

FAISALABAD: A woman was killed allegedly by her brother-in-law over character suspicion in Jhang Saddar area. Police said that Allah Muafi, a resident of Chak Sheikhana, Bakhshaywala, had earlier had an argument with her brother-in-law, Nau Bahar, after he accused her of having an illicit relationship with a neighbour. The argument led to exchange of words after which he shot her and fled. Tahir, husband of the deceased, and her parents have registered a case against the accused. The accused has been missing since the incident.
