MUMBAI:

From her cousin Abhay Deol to friends Sohail Khan and Genelia D’Souza, actor Esha Deol and her fiance Bharat Takhtani’s sangeet ceremony saw a lot of Bollywood celebrities — and the couple could not stop gushing about each other.

“I am madly in love with him, I can’t take my eyes off him,” Esha said about her fiance Bharat, a businessman.

Pouring his heart out, Bharat called Esha his “princess for life” and added that that he is “looking forward to having the best time of my life with my partner.”

A beaming Esha was dressed in an orange-red heavily embroidered lehenga-choli by designer Rocky S, while her beau flaunted a royal-blue embroidered sherwani. A trained dancer herself, Esha managed to get Bharat to dance at the retro-themed sangeet ceremony.  “I love dancing and I managed to make Bharat dance with me on our sangeet,” said Esha.

Meanwhile, guests from B-Town wished the couple a blessed life together.  “I wish they live happily together and it’s definitely a momentous occasion. I am very excited and happy for them,” Abhay, who arrived with girlfriend Preeti Desai, said.

Film-maker-actor Sohail Khan, and a friend of Bharat, said that he has known the groom for years and that he is happy Bharat has found a life partner in Esha. “He is a Bandra boy and Esha has been a family friend. I just wish them all the best; they make a lovely couple.”

Newly married couple, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, feel that marriage will mark an exciting new chapter in Esha and Bharat’s relationship. “I am extremely happy for Esha that she found her true love and wish them both a happy married life,” Deshmukh said.

Esha’s mehendi ceremony will be on June 28 followed by a traditional temple wedding on June 29 and a reception the next day.

Enjoy the feeling Esha while it lasts. Unfortunately, this thing called 'reality' enters life in about a year after marriage and it ruins everything. The remnants will remain but it is never the same.
