Property fraud: SHO fails to respond to court order
Petitioner submitted that she had reached an agreement with Warda Saeed to buy 50 marlas of land for Rs6.25 million.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Sohail Shafiq has again sought comments from the Quaid-i-Azam Industrial Estate station house officer (SHO) by June 28 on a petition seeking a case against a woman for alleged property fraud.
Petitioner Ayesha Bibi submitted that she had reached an agreement with Warda Saeed to buy 50 marlas of land for Rs6.25 million. She said she had paid Rs5 million in advance and had agreed to pay the rest when the property was transferred to her. But the property was never transferred and she did not get her advance back, said the petitioner. She said she had approached the SHO, but he had not entertained her request. The judge had asked the SHO to comment on the petition, but received no response on Tuesday.
