Educational purposes: SEF highlights ‘Adopt-a-School Programme’

The programme aims to mobilise the private sector’s support for public school reform.

Representatives from the private sector participated in an event organised by the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) to highlight its ‘Adopt-a-School Programme’ on Sunday.


The programme aims to mobilise the private sector’s support for public school reform. Till now, more than 250 successful adoptions have been undertaken through which thousands of children belonging to marginalised areas of Sindh are benefitting, said the statement by SEF.

The organisation’s managing director, Prof. Anita Ghulam Ali, and director Aziz Kabani introduced the school adoption process. The session highlighted areas of quality enrichment for enhancing students’ learning outcomes.

Contributions were invited through the donation of time, expertise and resources for improving school environment and implementing child centered pedagogy in government schools.
