LAHORE: Sui Northern Pipelines Limited has reduced Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations closure period from 72 hours to 64 hours. According to the schedule issued by Oil and Gas Regulation Authority (Ogra), CNG stations in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sahiwal and Multan regions, which were closed at 6am on Monday, will reopen at 10pm on Wednesday. Earlier, a three day gas load shedding was taking place in the region; however, an 8-hour relief has now been given by Ogra. Meanwhile, commuters continued to face problems due to thin transport in the city as well as on inter-city routes. Transport owners overcharged commuters in the name of the closure of CNG stations.
