Free healthcare: Medical camp for Baloch people

In the last camp at Gwadar, more than 3,000 patients were treated.

The Pakistan Navy established a three-day free medical camp at Jiwani, according to press release on Sunday. The camp will extend medical facilities to more than 7,000 people suffering from various ailments, the release said. It added that surgeons, ophthalmologists, gynaecologists and paediatricians have been stationed at the camp. A laboratory has also been set up for blood tests, ultrasounds and x-rays. Specialists at the camp will also conduct minor surgeries, along with providing free medicines. According the release, the navy established medical camps for the coastal region on a biannual basis. In the last camp at Gwadar, more than 3,000 patients were treated.
