Honour Killing: Man and cousin killed over karo kari
Aasia was married to Gul Mur Lashari, who suspected that his wife was being unfaithful.

A police constable identified as Sajjad Mirani and his first cousin Aasia were shot dead on the pretext of karo kari in Jacobabad on Friday. Mirani was on his way home when some men opened fire at him near SSP House. Nearly half an hour later, Aasia’s body was found in a graveyard. Aasia was married to Gul Mur Lashari, who suspected that his wife was being unfaithful. Sources claimed that Mirani had gone to visit his cousin when her husband was not at home. When Gul walked in, he grabbed his pistol and opened fire. Aasia died immediately while Mirani managed to escape. Gul and his accomplices chased him around and killed him near SSP House. Mirani’s father Mohammad Bux has registered a case against five men, including Gul Mir Lashari, Ashiq Lashari and Nasrullah Thaheem. Aasia’s father lodged an FIR against Gul Mir Lashari.
