A woman was deprived of her handbag containing Rs125,000, prize bonds, a cell phone, and other valuables in Westridge area on Thursday.
Police sources said that the victim was in her car on Valley Road when three armed motorcyclists intercepted her and snatched her handbag.
Meanwhile, Habib Mehmood told the same police that his cell phone worth thousands of rupees had been stolen.
Separate cases have been registered under the relevant laws, police said.
