KARACHI:

Khurram Inam and Ahmed Sultan will vie for the single Olympics berth in the final round of trials next week.

Pakistan received a single wild-card entry in the skeet event after which the National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP) held trials featuring four shooters. While Amin Karamat and Abdul Sattar were eliminated, double Olympian Inam and Sultan ended with similar scores, leaving the NRAP indecisive.

“The shooter who scores more points will be selected,” an NRAP official told The Express Tribune. “If the scores match, the shooter with the highest single score will be declared victorious. In the event of another tie, the shooter with the lowest single score will be eliminated. The aim is to give our best and in-form skeet shooter an opportunity.”
