SINGAPORE: Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) has won awards of “Best Global Retail Bank” and “Best Online Banking Strategy” at The 27th Retail Banker International’s Awards. The accolades recognise the bank’s strong progress in delivering consistent results amidst the industry’s changing climate and regulatory environment. They also reflect the bank’s leadership in demonstrating innovation and cost effective deployment, while achieving growth, operational efficiencies and high levels of customer satisfaction. Retail Banker international Editor Douglas Blakey said that SCB deserved the award as it has posted record profits for the 9th successive year. SCB Pakistan Head of Consumer Banking Naseer Hassan stated that the bank follows a customer focused strategy which aims to solve a customer’s specific financial needs and the bank invests in engineering its products, design, platform and workforce to enhance customer’s experience of banking with SCB.
