1 killed, 5 injured in Karachi violence

Violence in various areas of Karachi claims life of one and injures five.

KARACHI/PAKISTAN: Unidentified people threw a hand grenade at a shop, injuring five people while one person was shot dead in the Baldia area of the city, Express News reported on Friday.

Five people were injured at Pak Colony, when an unknown person threw a hand grenade at a fish shop. The victims were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

The injured include Kashif, Qamar, Anwar Hussain and Nadeem Hussain.

Iqbal sustained injuries in a firing incident in Baldia, and passed away while he under treatment at the hospital.

Another person injured in firing in Machar Colony.
