ISLAMABAD:

To promote bilateral trade between Slovenia and Pakistan, key businessmen have formed the Slovenia Pakistan Business Alliance (SPBA).

“The business alliance has been established under the Companies Ordinance, 1984, as a company limited by guarantee. Zafar Hilaly, former ambassador to Italy/Slovenia, is the chairman,” says a statement issued here on Thursday.

The statement adds that the objective of SPBA is to promote business, mutual understanding and friendly relations between Pakistan and Slovenia; and that it is a bilateral representative forum of Pakistani industrialists and businessmen involved in economic exchanges with the Slovenian private sector.

Slovenian companies represented in Pakistan also form part of this business alliance, the statement said.
