Cricket: Alvi guides PCC to victory

Alvi bagged a five-wicket haul to guide Pakistan Cricket Club (PCC) to a 10-wicket win.

KARACHI: Nauman Alvi bagged a five-wicket haul to guide Pakistan Cricket Club (PCC) to a 10-wicket win over Sakhi Hassan Gymkhana in the NBP-KCCA Zone-VI Inter-Club tournament. Batting first, Gymkhana were all out for 101 in 45 overs. Ahsan Pathan top-scored with 45. In reply, PCC reached the target in just 11.1 overs. Ali Asad top-scored with 48, an innings that included eight fours. Fakhar Zaman scored 38 with a six and four boundaries. PCC has now advanced to the semi-finals. In another match, Northshire CC piped Taimuria Sports by one wicket.
